Discus and support region locked code in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i just bought the disc version of fallout 4 with the xbox 360 code for fallout 3.     region locked code


    i just bought the disc version of fallout 4 with the xbox 360 code for fallout 3. I cant redeem the fallout 3 code. i tried to redeem it on the console companion, my xbox, my phone, and the website. on the xbox and console companion, it says "Here is what you get." and shows fallout 3 with its box art and then after pressing confirm it says to change my region in the settings and I cant acquire this item in the language I have selected. it is the Spanish version made in Mexico. i tried to change my account region and migrating it to Mexico, tried using a VPN to connect to Mexico. no luck at all. on the website, it says "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."

    what do I do?

    Tataki. Gold sub cards are not region locked, should be the same with digital codes as well as long as it is a sub code. POINT codes are region locked though.

    If the code is region locked there is no way around it. It would have to be redeemed in the region it is meant for. If the code is for a game and the game itself is region locked, then your account region and your physical location would also have to match
    that region.

    It's best to only purchase codes for your own region. If the games are not normally available in your region, they could be region locked so even with a code and/or changing your account region, you won't be able to download the games. Even if they are
    in your region, the codes themselves could be region locked.
