Region lock vs Language lock

Discus and support Region lock vs Language lock in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Why can't set the location to Portugal keeping the English language?     Why can't set the location to Portugal keeping the English language?

    I say it is a malfunction, an error, and it should be corrected.

    This was not an issue in previous versions, it makes no sense in XBOX ONE. I just didn't return the console back immediately because I was expecting this would be corrected, but after all these years, and a new version is imminent, if the new version
    maintains this politic, it means Microsoft is worsen their ethics levels.

    Why is my black ops 2 in spanish?

    One problem.richie it's a xbox 360 game not.a xbox one game

    And blackops 2 is region and language locked

    Downloading a different language will incur the language .lock if.he tries.and get the.dlc

    Black ops 1-2 has a language lock if they use the wrong language disk or game.and download the region locked dlc the dlc is.locked with language of.the region downloading.a different region dlc will cause the language mismatch error (frpm.the 360 days )

    It's.the only language locked game

    Xbox games weren't language independent till xbox one games but.doesn't apply retroactively

    And most bc titles are region locked most.famously cod games

    @op you can't change it.unless you are in a region that supports the language.you are requesting like us English you must.be in the us

    And you would.have to. make .the.correct purchase

    I bought a physical copy of call of duty black ops 2 for xbox 360 and the game is in German, can I somehow change it to English or Polish?

    Keep in mind cod black ops 2 content is language locked

    So buying a German copy means you must.be in a German region and lamguage dlc

    If you aren't in a German region you must.buy a different disk

    And.MUST match your actual region since blackops is both language locked and region locked

    You can get.xbox one games.and higher which isn't language locked but as mentioned ONLY NEWER GAMES.has language and region independences

    Sorry but a games language is locked to that region's main language and cannot be changed. If the game was region locked to a specific country in Europe that has French as the main language then I'm afraid that there's no way to change it.
