    Region Lock on Games with Gold.


    Hey, I am a Finnish citizen, who bought my Xbox 360 in August 2013 from Finland. I am currently in Kenya and I am not able to download any of the free Games with Gold games. I have a Finnish billing address and a Finnish locale. Is there anything I could
    do to still download these games? Would changing the locale and billing address to Kenyan help? Or should I try something else?

    issue downloading Halo 3

    Why xbox live gold free games have region lock? Sony is not doing region lock on playstation PSN+ free games, and those games are 10000000000x better and are 2-3 ears top old... And halo 3 is 6 ears old game....

    Region Lock on Games with Gold.

    no as the physical region of the console, the account, and your location all have to match to get region locked games sorry there is no way around it without violating the rules.

    Kenya isn't a Xbox live region so that won't help

    I have another question, since Region Locked games don't download, will I be able to get DLC for games? Fo example the Destiny DLC?

    Destiny is most likely region locked given bungies history with region locks

    For the best experience with Xbox live and no download issues

    your account region must match your actual region

    Gold membership cards are not region locked. Microsoft Point cards are region locked.

    as the games for gold program games are all region locked

    XBOX live gold free games - not available in Slovakia for 6 weeks in a row, always replaced by The Maw

    Digital games are region locked and some may not be available for Slovakia. There's not much to do if the games with gold are not supported for your region.

    xNFZxKameixX, I am quite aware of what you are talking about. All the Free Games for the Games for Gold are not "free to everyone". They Are Regional Locked. If you are not of a Region for a specific Game and you attempt to By-Pass
    this Region Lock, you can get Perma-Banned.

    The Games available for your Region are the Games for your Region of Games for Gold. As an Ambassador, you might want to read the Terms of Use one (or a few) more time/s.
