Region issues with purchases

How about the Credit card that you are using for payment? Is it also of the same region?

Yes the card, is of the same region and it all worked fine when we bought the box and the initial games...now i go to get others and no luck....just says

[i]Change your Microsoft Store region[/i]

Tried with support calls, no success either. at their end they say the box and accounts are in different regions. not sure how as the box hasn't moved since it was purchased..

Remeber if you Do not live in a Xbox live region you may have issues purchasing content and ms points and subscriptions

Ms points are region locked to the region they are purchased in and must match the account region

Subscriptions cards are not region locked but well you cannot use an out of region creditcard to purchase membership

Alot of content are locked to the region they are purchased in also which makes downloading certain content impossible unless you live in that country

The reason you may be experiencing this sort of issue is because your region is not officially supported by Xbox LIVE. If a game is not available in your region you're going to have issues purchasing and downloading games in that region.

Unfortunately, there's no way to resolve this issue as you have a region mismatch. I suggest from this point forward if you're not able to make a LIVE account in your own region to only purchase disc based games and not anything from the marketplace as there's
no way to know which games will give you this issue and which won't. There are also no refunds on digitally purchased items on the marketplace.
