region issue

Guys, I have issue that i can't be in the same server with gamer in my country, it always connect to UK i guss server.

For example, Black ops 3 always with people from away countries from my home especially UK.

my account from Saudi Arabia, and the setting in my xbox 0ne show the location Saudi Arabia, I want be able to connect to middle east server.

please advise

Account region issue

I just got a used XBOX 360.
I live in Cyprus, where XBOX Live is not supported, so i decided to choose UK as my country (did the same with PSN). I was planning on topping up my account with pre-paid cards.
I managed signing up for XBOX Live trial and i also purchased 4 codes for Gears of War games from ebay. I managed redeeming the first one (using a VPN on my PC) and initiated the download on my console, i left it downloading and went to sleep.

Today, i couldnt find the game in my games list. I went through the purchase history, the game was there, but the Play option just redirected me to the "My games" section. So, i decided to download it again, assuming download was interrupted somehow. And around 80% download stopped and i didnt see any error message (i might have missed it). But after some google search, i found out it has something to do with the region (probably my actual IP is d

Region issue

Hi,

my account region is France same for my XB1. I access to French store then. If i buy a physical game in Germany ( I live there) would that be an issue (licences or compatibility) to add DLC or Add-on to this game through the (French) store ??

When you sign onto your Xbox Live account, you will be connected to your local server. In terms of the games, I do believe you connect to people within different servers that are around the world. This means, I am correct, you will always be playing with
different people from different countries.

On Black Ops 3, I am unaware of any option which allows you to just connect with people from your country, and maybe your always been matched with people from different countries that are online and are looking for other people to join their public lobbies.
As I understand it, the system matches you up the best it can in lobbies that you have good connection to.

Although, I could be wrong and I could have missed something. If you are wanting to play with people from your region, why not post in the discussion forums in your region, asking if some of the community here would play with you - that are from your region?
