    I recently bought a movie on DVD with the purpose to watch it on my xbox using the blu-ray app. I am in region 1 and the DVD is region 2. I changed my xbox region and it is still not working.

    I bought this game off ebay, but when I put it in to play, it says this:

    "The region code for this game does not match your console's region code. Please insert a game with the correct region code.

    X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0

    Is there anything that can be done to fix this and get it to play on my Xbox (360)?

    1) xbox.com
    2) redeem code
    3) change region to Brazil
    4) Go ahead and hit the green button to paste the code
    5) Change back to US region

    I tried these steps last night and it worked. It doesn't make sense that you need to change the region for it to work, but w.e lol

    Where did you purchase the code from? Codes are region locked so the region of the code must match the region of your account. The region of your account must match the region you live in.

    Is the code from the same region as your billing address? It could be a region issue. Subscription codes and currency codes are region locked.

    There is also the possibility that your region does not match the region for the code. Codes are region specific so if the card region and the region set for you console do not match, it will not work.
