Region change within same country ...

Hello,

i accidentally changed my region to the french speaking area of switzerland, but i wanted to change into the german speaking area. Normally the credits arent transferred when you change into a new region, but in this case its the same country, just another
language ... what happens if i migrate my account to the german side of switzerland? Do i still lose my MS credits? Or will i keep it, because its still the same country and currency?

Different games have different region settings, therefore some games will work fine in certain regions, where as others will not.

When you say you move around a lot, do you relocate within the same country, or to new countries?

Hi there, im italian with an italian xbox live account, but now i live in australia and i would like to change the country of my account. How can i do it? Thanks Alex

Region is by country, not sections of a country. This means that you don't have to do any region switching at all. Simply head over to your system settings and see if you can change the language only to German speaking instead of French.

Thanks for this info. The problem is that the marketplace is now completely in french. I dont speak french, so i have to switch the whole language, including of the marketplace i'm at into german language.

How do i do that?

If you can’t change country or region, it might be for one of these reasons:

You changed the country or region within the last three months.
Your account is suspended. For example, the credit card on a subscription has expired, or your subscription has a balance due.
You’re legally a minor in your current country or region and won’t be a minor in the new region, or vice-versa.
