Region and Language Issues

Hi,

I actually think this is more a post for the "Feedback" forum but for some reason the page there won't let me post anything (not even answers) so I'll put this here:

Please please please change the Regional/Language settings! I am in Germany but I want to play all my games and have my Xbox menue be in English. This was possible on the 360, why not the One?! Now I can't even use the store because it will only accept an
address in the US.

Seriously, why even do this?

It's still a little strange there is just no way to have your menu language fully in English, what if I only spoke that language?

I'm aware this is just a small inconvenience, but I have been bothered by it a lot since I work/speak a lot of English and prefer it over my native language. They might wanna look into this.

So after contacting xbox support without any result I thought I'd try here!

I want my xbox to be completely in English, but I'm located in Belgium. There are a few given options to do this.

I changed my System language on my xbox to English. You can then go into billing options and see for a language there.

My country has 2 main languages, dutch and French.. no English option AND you can't change your region/location.

Doing this changes some of the sub menu's like preferences and such to English, but most main menus remain Dutch.

I'm aware thats not a real issue but what is is that apps like youtube apparently load content going from your region.

Which in my case is half French so it gives me pages of French vids I know nothing about (since I speak dutch and English)

Long story short, I want my region behaving like USA or an option to have it so? Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Same wish here. The current way of handling the language Settings is just ridiculous. Whoever thought this was a good idea Needs to be whipped with a cat-5'o'nine tails.

 

Hi Selenyx I belive that the old xbox feedback forum is read only.. it has been replaced by www.xbox.uservoice.com where we can make or vote for suggestions...

When it comes to the language issue I'd like to suggest this one which had gotten a fair bit of support..

There are a lot of us who are not happy with the language situation on the xbox one at the moment...
