REGEN REQUIREMENTS FOR TITANFALL IS A JOKE!!!!!

You can get to Level 50 without doing the challenges but to generate to the next level you need to do the required challenges for the level you are on.

Well there's no "required" challenges to get to generation 2, after that though there is.

Doesn't seem to be slowing down anyone though. Played a Gen 6 and Gen 7 yesterday. British. Unreal.

 

Gen 3 at the min going onto 4 after i have done this challenge

 

Im with Xeno....play to have fun and the challenges will come. This everything needs to be easy is ruining the point of a CHALLENGE ( •a task or situation that tests someone's abilities. )

 

OK, so what kind of perks do you get for the Gen thing? And so what if it is hard, the perks you get aren't gamebreakers are they?

 

Anyone got a good link to all the Regen challenges?

 

Yeah I think its ridiculous forcing people to play a certain way just to advance. I can't use the set ups I enjoy playing with anymore because I have to chase these stupid *** regen requirements. I'm with you I had a blast with the game but this has killed
it for me. The requirements have milked the fun out of the game and I'm done.

 

So far the only Perk I see is an XP 1.1 multiplier. Nothing game breaking. As for quitting this fantastic game because you don't like challenges, the only one who loses out is you.

 

I like how it makes you use other weapons than the ones your most comfortable with...i just started doing my first challenges to get to gen 3 ...Hate the shotgun but im getting the hang of it...I can tell you im not gonna get the kill 50 ejecting pilots
challenge lol so i will probably go so far until i run into that challenge. Kinda sucks though hopefully they remove that one...i saw a challenge to drop 50 titans on enemy pilots...im good at this but i haven't even gotten 50 titan drops on enemy's yet from
the 15 hours i put in i got about 30 something...they have to nerf a few of the challenges but i dont mind most of them.

 

To the OP:

Regen is supposed to be challenging. If it was nothing to it then it really dont mean shyt. At least when you see the generation rankings you know people had to do certain things to get it besides doing the hamster wheel until they get to generation 10.

 

My k/d ratio has dropped pretty badly since having to get the sniper rifle challenges. I like the idea of having the requirements, but maybe make it so that there are a list of challenges set to each gen and you have to achieve a certain amount of them rather
than all of them. That way if you struggle with certain challenges you can focus on something a little less difficult for you.

 

It's not a big deal. I like the challenges. That's what makes me play most games; is for the challenge. Plus, it's a great way for the game to make users use the various guns and equipment.

 

Having problems with the charge rifle crits too. Can't get them to count.

I'm doing the charge rifle challenge at the moment. This one is tricky, I've got 6 so far but to be honest I don't know exactly how it's done, more luck than judgement.

All I do is try and go after a Titan that's already take a few hits and just keep aiming for it lol

 

Question charge rifle says get 5 critical hits what's that mean or how do you do that
