Seems like the issue is not regarding to your game edition it is due to your subscription. The game requires Xbox Live Gold subscription to play it. It’s either you will purchase Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since the Ultimate included Xbox Live Gold as well.

Once you claim them you can play Xbox One games as long as you maintain your Gold membership, and Xbox 360 games you did wind up owning. They've changed the way you claim some X360 games so I'm not sure anymore. But any of them, as long as you have a Gold
membership you can play them. It's not like Game Pass, the games don't leave after you claim them.
