Regarding xbox cloud sync for Forza Horizon 5

So I had the game on steam for a while, and it was working perfectly fine. Then I tried playing it on the xbox cloud where for some reason it keeps trying to set me up with a brand new save. Is it possible to transfer my progress or do I need to start fresh to play on xbox cloud?

You would have to start over. Progress from Steam doesn't transfer to Xbox and vice versa.

Your save is gone i'm afraid.

For some reason Forza 5/Horizon 2 sometimes have an issue syncing with the cloud server,will get to 99% & fail.

If you had tried to sync it again it would of synced properly or given you the option to use an older save.

I feel your pain,i lost a save with about 150 hours worth of gameplay on Forza 5

For example I have downloaded Forza Horizon 5 but can't play it on the cloud. But can play Forza 4 on cloud

Hello. I understand that you're having trouble synchronizing game progress with the Horizon 4 forza game. Have you had any problems with your Internet at all or any errors or code messages regarding syncing game data from the cloud?
Note You must have a regular connection to Xbox Live to keep your data in sync.
Offline playback can cause cloud data to sync. Data is updated each time you connect to Xbox Live.
