Regarding the Xbox profile's integration

I play the Halo MCC on steam and i fear that deleting the associated microsoft account ( wich would cause me do also delete the xbox profile integrated with the game ) would cause me to lose my account or copy of the game, is it possible to delete the account and later if needed open another if needed, i wouldn't mind loosing the progress i just wonder if i can delete the account without loosing access to my copy of the game or is the xbox profile integration not that serious and i could delete it and create a new one if i wanted to play the game again ?

well you will not lose your steam license to the game you will lose almost certainly everything else if you delete the Microsoft account. There is no need to delete any Microsoft accounts

what is your purpose in doing this?

I understand your fear of losing the game license.

You have acquired the license through Steam, so it has no effect at all on the Xbox account you have linked, you just need to contact Steam to ask if it is possible to link a different Xbox account in the future, there are services that do not allow this and only allow a single Xbox account to be associated.

i have been dealing with random people trying to log into my account randomly

i trust that my password is complex enough and, the other security measures as well as emails and receipts in case i need to recover said account but if push comes to shove i'd like to know if deleting the account wouldn't lock me out of enjoying the game in the future

It's not about power... Current PCs are more powerful than the 360. It's a question of compatibility. The PC would require emulation software, which up til now, hasn't been that reliable. Even the 360 can't play all original Xbox software. Besides, why would
Microsoft want to allow PCs to play 360 titles? Wouldn't that diminish the need (AKA: sales) for the 360? Like I said in another (similar) thread, I could see this maybe happening (if they could get it to work properly) after Microsoft has released the successor
to the 360, as a way of extending 360 game sales.
