Regarding the xbox and the new xbox scarlett

Similar to others, there is a cost factor for those large SSDs. If there is enough appetite they could offer it but they also need to ensure it is a reliable SSD as well for mass production. Maybe you are willing to pay for it but many people want the
bigger hard drive but then complain about the price which doesnt make sense to me.

This will surely be analyzed. The games are getting bigger and bigger and it is very likely that the internal storage will also be bigger.

You can always buy an external, which keeps the cost of the console down and lets the consumer make the choice of what size additional they want.



I don't expect this to change for Scarlett.

I know there were images “leaked” from the dev kit, but i wouldn’t know how reliable a source they are in case any pictures could’ve been edited.

But from an affordability point of view i doubt it would have a 3TB SSD, from what i saw it’s more likely to have a 1TB SSD with a portion of that dedicated to loading up games almost instantly and new other functions.

With game sizes increasing so much and no doubt more so next gen as devs work on utilising that new power it makes sense for bigger drive to be included.

That said, we know they will want to keep cost low to encourage sales.

I dont see them having bigger than a 1t or possibly 2t drive and if they thought logically a company such as ms making millions of consoles could drive the price down as opposed us all having to go and buy individual drives ovrselves
