Regarding the warranty of my controller

I had to get a warranty of one year but got only 3 months of warranty. I had purchased it recently and it is brand new. Not a refurbished item.

Normal controllers (not Elites) only come with a 90 day warranty:

I am sorry that you had problems with your xbox controller, as a player I can only inform you how it works, and the xbox controller has a 90 day warranty, one year is exclusively for the console, its accessories, such as the controller has a 3 month warranty and microsoft does not perform repairs outside of this period for its accessories.

This is really weird, try updating the controller through the Xbox Accessories App, if the problem persists use your control's warranty.

the problem is my warranty is expired

I have that problem with my controller. So i use the warranty i have with the retailer and exchange the controller for a new one.
