Regarding The Suspension System

Hello all I would like to bring up possibly one of the most hated features on Xbox and that is the suspension system. I feel it is an extremely flawed, abused, and hated feature on xbox. Now I would like to break down why this system is bad and explain why
I feel it should be abolished and or improved. First off let's talk about how this system is really used. As an xbox veteran I can assure you this system is not used the way it should be. Most of the time people push as hard as they can to get a reaction from
you until you respond with something a little bit edgy. The next day you are greeted with a week suspension and all content that you rightfully own and paid for is unusable for that period. You will then shortly after be greeted by a message from the person
that reported and the message will just be them mocking you. The xbox enforcement system is also heavily anti consumer. The fact that all content you bought and own including xbox live is locked from you for a period of time is AGGRAVATING I could see 1-2
day bans but beyond that is ridiculous and in some cases people lose everything because they're permanently suspended. Well you may be thinking that since there is such a strict punishment system you must be able to represent yourself to have your case repealed?
WRONG the representing system is honestly the worst of this entire suspension. They give you a total of 500 characters to explain yourself to repeal the case and then when they review it they clearly have no understanding of the context and situation so they
just upheld the case and that's it no other way to explain or represent yourself just that's it. What we can conclude about this system is how heavily flawed it is they should either fix it or get rid of it either way they need to support the more mature players
on xbox but at the same time protect the younger players that's why I think there should be a censor system within the messages and only heavily extremist messages get the sender banned.
I would love to see a change in the system but tell me your thoughts. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so please respect that as well. Cheers!

looking for assistance regarding anot unfair suspension that cannot be resolved using your online system.

I made a post myself regarding the suspension system everyone is banned for a reason whether it happened in the past or present I completely understand where you are coming from the system is flawed and abused. All I could suggest it for you to dispute the
claim whenever you get a suspension and hope for the best.

 

You have the option to report and block offending gamers.

If you choose to violate the Code of Conduct then you alone are held accountable.

 

I understand this but the punishments seem a bit harsh I would much rather see Xbox put they’re resources and hard working employees into other things than an eforcement system

 

Without the enforcement team, it would be complete mayhem.

 

The enforcement system works just fine.

I've been on xbox live since it began & have never had any type of enforcement action.It's not difficult to follow the simple set of rules everyone agrees to.

You do not own the games,you pay for the license to use those games & that license can be suspended or revoked at any time,something else everyone agrees to.

If someone tries to bait you into responding & you do so in a way that violates the ToU/CoC then that is completely down to you.

I've had people try to get a response from me,i just reported them & blocked them.Simple really.

There's over 55 million xbox live users & 99% of them have no problem with the enforcement system so to say it's one of the most hated features on xbox is just untrue.

Would hate to think xbox live would be like without the enforcement system.
