Regarding Forza Motorsport 7 update error

After many years i logged back into my Microsoft account on my PC and got the PC Game Pass. I found out that I have access to Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 4. I can successfully update FH4 but I get an error upon updating FM7.

The error code is 0x80073cfb

I do not know how to fix this problem

Did you purchase it or no? If you purchased it, it would be tied to your account and you can reinstall it even if it's been delisted.

Hi there SaifC welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Is this happening only on this game? I had this issue around a year ago, but with all my games, refusing to install or update. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!

Then I would suggest contacting the forza team! Because you're right, you might not be able to download it again!

Christopher, thank you for your quick reply...I wanted to ask instead of resetting my Windows, can I uninstall the game and re-install?

Please keep in mind that Forza Motorsport 7 is no longer in the Windows store except for people who had already purchased it before...

There is a service alert going on regarding Forza 7 stating:

"A subset of users will experience issues when attempting to download Forza Motorsport 7. We are working towards the fix and will let you know as soon as there is an update. Thank you for your patience."
