Regarding Assassin's Creed I GWG - error 0x803F8001

Hey! There's a current problem regarding ACI with gold at the moment for me. I'm not sure why but the download page on the xbox one store doesn't work so I installed the game through the microsoft store on the pc. I then installed it through the store
of the xbox one as it said to me 'you now own this product'. After waiting for the 7gb to download I came up with an error regarding claimancy. it gave me the error 0x803F8001, asking me
do you own this game or app? I tried the solutions but nothing worked. I never owned the non-digital version so there never was a disk inserted to play the game. However I am now unable to play it even though it's a gold game. Any ideas to
fix this issue besides what I've tried?

i bought a used xbox one s with assassin's creed origins that was downloaded i played that game but after a few weeks i reset xbox one s without erasing data and games and after that when i started assassin's creed origins, xbox shows one s error 0x803f8001
and says that the person who bought the game must log in, so what can I do now to play

 

Question About Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

As this is only my second Assassin's Creed game I've ever played (the first was Black Flag and I didn't really like it.. at all.. it was free with GWG). Which
Assassin's Creed is Syndicate? (Assassin's Creed 6 or 7).



BTW I am really enjoying this one, I may pick up some more Assassin's Creed games at a later date and see what they are like, but this game is just amazing IMHO.

When I get a game from GWG especially 360 or XB1 games I go the xbox website 2-3 days after the new games get posted so when I download them I won't get any errors like this one. Also look at your settings and make sure the xbox is your main home console.
Once I'm on the site I would down the xb1 games first then 360 games and I would double check to make sure I downloaded them and see if they in my download section for my xb1 or in ready to install.

The game shows up on the ready to install tab. The weird thing is, is that it doesn't show it on the ready to install tab on the Gold section seperately. Almost like it's telling me it isn't a gold game. Xbox is definitely main home console so I'm at a
loss

I would try re-downloading your games with gold from the website instead off the console. I've never had this problem happen to me when it comes to GWG. Then check your xbox it should downloading or on the ready to instal list.

 

tried it as well, wouldn't download at all. In fact, the game was removed completely from the library the moment I tried to download it through the website. Still getting the do you own this game or app? question..

Hey! My xbox gold is active and I will have to renew it on the 29th of November 2019. It also shows on the xbox games & apps as 2 on my membership list. That being xbox gold and game pass. In terms of license and transaction, it doesn't seem to appear
on both of these. It only appears on my xbox one x game list itself. Hope that helps!

same is going down with me I have a active gold membership but says do you own this app because I play online and checked my membership and its there why cant Install it?

 

Same here. Something is wrong with this particular GwG. I'm reading in several websites this very issue is happening to multiple users.
