Refuses to update and without it, won't let me play... :(

I haven't played this much sense launch, decided to give it some time and poof... "There was a problem with the update" *Try again* keeps bringing up "...problem..." screen. I "checked network connection" and, "It's all good" then it tries for 15 seconds
to connect and back to the "...problem..." screen. Did some looking and saw that this game has become a train reck of issues and I can't find anything anywhere on this one, can anyone help? I reset my ONE and my modem, nothing. I only care to play my career
and my save can't be played without a connection so this stinks.

I've been trying to update a game for 7 hours

Of course the game won't let me play it cause it needs an update and I cannot play offline. The 360 was able to let you play a game offline without an update. If Microsoft is going to make it so we can't play games without updates or online connection then
they need to be on top of these issues. Not make us wait for 7 hours.

 

Game trouble

Some of my Xbox games are not loading, some refuse to finish a game without crashing, others just won't let me play them.

I have removed all of them including the Xbox and reloaded them and they still don't work. Help!!!

 

I had connection issues when I first got the game because of a poor signal to my modem. That's been fixed since. But when that was happening, an update allowed me to play MyCareer offline, but I had to create a new file. So maybe start a new career and
play on that until your problems are fixed.

 

I don't feel like sitting through my player on the couch anymore, it's soooooo boring and he sounds like such a tooI. I tried to play just a quick match and it kept stopping me and saying I can't update blah blah blah. I have to force it to the home screen
just to get back to the game I was playing, not entertaining.

I have no connection issues with anything else at all so It's definitely on the 2K end of things.

 

Well if you like playing at the park it's nice to have 2 different careers with different positions.

 

I gave up, traded it in to Best Buy with the 100% trade in credit for a whopping $36, better than a poke in the eye or NOT being able to play this silly game.
