Refusal to chat with customers

I have been trying to contact Microsoft support now for 15 days yet even when the system says that there is no one in line before me NO MICROSOFT REPRESENTATIVE answers. This is beyond frustrating.

If you've done the automated form your next step is to contact phone or chat support and have them escalate a case. You'll need to Account Reset Request number from the refusal e-mail.

Try hard resetting your Xbox by holding the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5 mins

same here. first chat with xbox support they told me to buy another download code lol. activision said "we'll investigate it". both refuse to refund, so in customer support language they pretty much said **** off.

I have the same problem and this appears to be a common issue when checking online. I was on the phone/chat with Microsoft customer support half of the day and their solution is for us to send the broken controllers back to them and they will replace it.
I find it ridiculous that they expect customers to pay out of pocket and deal with shipping for an issue that is clearly a product defect. Despite my complaints my customer service rep refused to escalate my request to a supervisor or devise a way to come
up with a resolution plan that isn't completely inconvenient for their customers. Apparently customer "service" means very little to Microsoft...
