    Refunds won't work


    I refunded games that I bought, and it even said that my money was put back in my account. Though I never received it. Now whenever I try and buy an item it says that it's not authorized to make this purchase.

    Hi! My name is Ben a fellow membere here in the community and hope you are doing well!

    With regards to refunds, it sometime takes 5-7 business days to be credited on your payment provider but this still depends on the billing cycle of your bank.

    If you submitted a refund request to the Xbox refunds team and if the said it got refunded, you can check the status of your order via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page to see if the status shows refunded now. But if it is still showing as purchased, I would suggest to submit a request to them via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-a-... or if you have received an email from Xbox, you may reply to the email to follow up.

    You should be able to buy things with your account even if you requested a refund. But in case any payment method you have won't work, might as well to contact Xbox support directly on this link https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us click on "Contact us" > Subscriptions & billing > I need help with a purchase > See contact options > then there you will find option to chat with them or request a callback.

    But I would suggest to try the chat instead as it is much faster for me based on experience.

    Xbox support refuse to refund games if you have done more than 1 in 12 months. SO where is the preview team support on this forum?

    They won't work in Australia. You should try and organise a refund with the website you bought them from.
