    Refunds and purchasing system


    My younger brother bought an Xbox game (Burnout: Paradise City) on my account and lead me to believe it was a free game, I did not realise until I checked my bank statement. I believe the purchasing system should be a lot more secure.
    Is there any way of refunding the purchase and removing the download ?

    Anyone ever get a refund from xbox Live?

    If you get a refund from Microsoft on a digital purchase you lose the license for the game and it become unplayable.

    The game will remain installed on your system until you uninstall it yourself.

    Hello! You may be able to request a refund online by going to account.microsoft.com then payments & billing and finally order history. Under the section for the game you are inquiring about there may be an option for "Request a refund." as long as it meets
    the following criteria.

    You bought the item within last 14 days.

    You and any anyone else used or played it for a total of no more than 2 hours.

    Your home console, PC, and any other device you installed it on turned on and signed in to the internet.

    The game or app isn't running on any device.

    You are asking for something that has nothing to do with Snap. You purchase the games to play the games. Your reasoning for getting a refund for the game you purchased is invalid.
    What? Do people here have terrible difficulty with reading comprehension, or something? I want a refund mainly on the system BECAUSE SNAP WAS A HUGE SELLING FEATURE OF THE SYSTEM FOR ME. But a refund on everything would be ideal.

    It is not possible to transfer any assets between Xbox accounts. If you purchase a code from a third-party retailer like Amazon, it is not refundable. Microsoft can only refund purchases that fall within the refund guidelines that are made on their internal store system you find on the console

    If I can make a recommendation in the future, you can purchase an Xbox gift card from Amazon, including using an Amazon gift card, that way your purchase would enjoy refund protections
