    Refunding didn't give money back and took the rest of the change


    I was given 5 euros redeem card by Xbox. It was put in my Microsoft account. After buying a game, I clicked it bought by mistake and refunded it. Then Microsoft took the remaining cents along with the refunded game cost. I don't know if they took their money back, was it because I refunded it or do i have to wait for the 5 euros to be back?

    What do I have to do?

    Normally, the refund process takes from 3 to 5 business days to be back at your account( but t might take a bit longer). However, you might want to get in touch with our live support to check your account.

    Just a friendly reminder though that once money has been refunded it will now depend on your bank on when they will credit back the money.

    The thing is this if MS JUST now caught the refund and took the licenses away they may be sending paypal the rest of the refund also and may just take time for paypal to put the money back into your account.

    They didn't stole anything.
    As I said, the refund goes back to the payment method.

    Try talking with the bank, rest assure that they can give you the money bank if you don't have the card or even if you don't use that bank anymore.

    Transaction can be tracked by them.
