Refunding a digital game within the same day?

I've gotten the xbox one version of NBA 2K23 on my xbox series x today and i was looking to get a refund.. i appealed a refund it was denied minutes later... I thought this was an honest mistake as both versions of the game was on the store and the store does not do a great job at putting whether the game is for xbox one or series x or not.. I am wondering if i can escalate or get my case looked at by actual support?

You can try replying to the email you received denying the refund to contact the refund specialists, but they are the only ones who handle refunds.

I've never gotten a reply.. i just seen it was denied on the status of my appeals under the refund page.. im not sure if that's accurate though because it was changed immediately minutes after i requested it

Digital refunds are typically only available if you have purchased the game within the past 14 days and have played less than 2 hours. Otherwise, there is no way to refund or get credit for digital purchases.

digital items are the same on all platforms, no refunds after 14 days or after 2 hours of play, as the game was not working all that time then why did you not seek a refund before the time was reached. when purchasing you agree to the terms for the digital refund limit.

reply to the denied email you got and explain the situation to see if they can overturn it. did you ring or contact support within that 14 days to see about fixing the issue, if not why not.
