Refunded purchase, still own

Here is the deal. I wanted to purchase ESO. I was going to play this with my son and have MS credit. Would not accept my credit cards for the remainder. I was sure I had split like this before so a chat with a CS rep was the option. After some time
the CS rep said to select the CC first and then select confirm and said that the option of using the credit would come up. It did not. It charged immediately and went to downloading the game. So the CS rep did a refund. This is for the game and not the
ESO Plus subscription.

Now I want to play the game. And I would purchase. But in the Xbox Store it says I have already purchased. So I cannot purchase again. Will the game always be like that?

Refund not received

If your order history for the game still says completed that means the purchase for the game is completed.

If they gave you a refund it would say refunded so that means they have not refunded you for the purchase.

That means you Need to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us

 

Fortnite V-Bucks

So I got some V-Bucks and had them refunded, but I still have the V-Bucks that I refunded in my account. I have emailed Epic asking them to take them out of my account as I do not own them as I refunded them, however they are saying that they dont refund
V-Bucks. What should I do?

 

Yes. It will still show as purchased because technically it was purchased. I've got a game that does the same thing.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how to actually purchase it again. You may have to contact support again and see if it is possible for them to make the payment go through.

 

I will try support again and see what they say. I read somewhere today, no sure exactly where right off the top, but the post said that they had to refund COD: MW2 and that the game stayed on the account. And that support would not or could not do anything.
I was looking around to see how long it could take before the game became purchasable again. Anyway, thanks for the response and I will try support again.

 

Good luck. Hopefully they can do something. Mine was from someone getting my account a couple of years ago and they refunded the game they bought. To this day it still shows as being purchased.
