Refunded a pre-order game part of the punch card, please subtract the points if necessary.

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but that's how it is. The rewards punch cards are to get people to try games they might not have otherwise. It's a promotion between Microsoft and the company for whos game it is. The same situation applies on purchasing games
vs pre-ordering. If you pre-order and a punch card comes out, it's ineligible to earn that punch card. Sucks because I do love earning the points but I realize that it's to incite those that wouldn't otherwise buy the product, and not reward those that are
already on board.

As long as you activated the punch card before pre ordering the game then you should get your 6000 points on release day.

Rewards points don't work on games that have been pre-ordered as you need to activate the punch card before the purchase and the pre-order purchase would have been made long before. I have found that out with several game I pre-ordered. The punch cards usually appear a few days before the game releases so it's better to leave the pre-order till then (I pre-ordered Grid: Legends a couple of days before release and got the points for that)

As to the refunds limit, not sure anyone on the forum actually knows...I believe it is supposed to be 2 refunds in a calendar year but some people are getting rejected having had no refunds prior. So, who knows? Did you reply to the refund denial email? Sometimes you can do that..can't work out if the email you quoted was the initial rejection or a follow-up.

One other thing for future reference: Your post would be much easier to read if it had paragraphs....a solid wall of text can be harder to read and, thus, less likely to receive replies (personally, I have ignored posts in the past due to being too tired to try to read it etc). Not criticising you or anything, merely noting it in case you need support in future
