Refund

So a few days ago I was regretting the decision to buy fallout 76, and I had no clue microsoft allowed for digital purchase refunds these days, so I submitted a request on the 26th for a refund of a game that I pre-ordered on the 12th and came out on the
14th. Unfortunately I had miss typed the date when asked when I purchased it, and instead said 10/12/18 when I actually meant 11/12/18. This is really infuriating, as I do believe I qualify for a refund, but thanks to a typing error I just lost 60$ forever.
Could I please get some help?

Anyone else getting preorder refunds from Amazon or elsewhere?

I am going thru my email and I have 2 refunds from Amazon on my Xbox One games.
I got this same email for all the games I preordered thru Amazon, bring the game cost
down to only $48.99 each.

Xbox Live hard to cancel

I have called them and even if you meant to cancel after the charge has been made for the next period they won't give you any sort of refund. I was only one day late in calling to cancel and I still could not get a refund with them. The only thing they would do is not automatically renew it when came due again.

 

It would be best to talk to an Xbox Support representative, either by phone or chat. They can pull up your purchase records/dates, and probably help issue a refund.

Hi, my understanding is that your best course of action in this scenario is to reply to the email you received concerning the original quest, explaining your case and requesting another review from them. I believe you should receive further communication
from the agent within 48 hours. If you don't hear back from someone after submitting that email, I'd then try submitting another refund request. Hope that helps!
