    I recently asked for a refund as I had purchased "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt", and as it was downloading I got all associated addons and purchased the two DLC's for it, as I have never played this game before, I didn't know that the 2 x DLC's were already
    included in the game.

    I got a refund for 1 of them however the other one, the guy who processed the request denied it. I used the same reason and sent it as a separate request.

    How do I dispute their decision on this as it is completely unfair that I have to pay for a DLC that is already included in the game that I did not know was already included in the game?.

    Anyone else getting preorder refunds from Amazon or elsewhere?

    I am going thru my email and I have 2 refunds from Amazon on my Xbox One games.
    I got this same email for all the games I preordered thru Amazon, bring the game cost
    down to only $48.99 each.

    Xbox Live hard to cancel

    I have called them and even if you meant to cancel after the charge has been made for the next period they won't give you any sort of refund. I was only one day late in calling to cancel and I still could not get a refund with them. The only thing they would do is not automatically renew it when came due again.

    What country do you live in. Some countries like Australia and New Zealand have consumer rights laws which Microsoft is aware of and it's in their Terms of Service under Applicable Law, members who live outside the US that your countries laws interpret your
    contract with Xbox.

    That's the good thing about Steam (for PC). You get to try games for up to like 2 hours is it or less gameplay, and if you don't like it, your can request and receive a refund. That's the great thing about Steam. Wish Xbox had this. As trials/demos don't
    provide enough feel for the full game.

    Contact Microsoft Support who will steer you to some answers.

    Tip if you want something, do research FIRST before you blindly throw money at it (through Google searches and YouTube video searches). That method works for me.

    With physical disc copies, it's easier to resale if you don't like it. Not so much with digital copies though very few companies like Steam offer much better refund policy.

    I think the reason is because you can only get 1 refund per year. He may not of been able to even if he wanted too.

  7. Hi there. Sorry you've had issues. The system only allows one refund a year. So it was probably out of his power to refund the second.

    Thanks,, what I don't understand is one Microsoft Customer Service Officer refunded me for 1 of the DLC's (XBOX One) and another MCSO decided not to, I haven't used the DLC, it is already included in the Witcher Wild Hunt and unfortunately I didn't know
    while purchasing the DLC's (The main game was downloading and didn't get to see that the DLC's were already included.

    I made a mistake and while 1 was refunded I want the other to be refunded, they have not bothered to respond to my requests unfortunately Refund :(

    I live in Australia.

    That's crazy, 1 per year, I think as I live in Australia there are regulations providing support for purchasers to get their money back if you abide by certain guidelines.

    I believe that if you make a mistake, regardless how many refunds, you should be entitled for a refund, especially if you have not used that DLC or game.

    Crazy stuff.

    If you’d like to request a refund for a purchase of digital content, answer a few questions and we’ll provide the correct form for you to fill out to submit your request. Be sure to sign in to and submit
    your request from the account you used to make the purchase. You’ll need to provide the order number for each item.
    Order numbers can be found by signing in to your Microsoft account at Sign in to your Microsoft account. Note: Refund requests can only be made through the form. Our dedicated team is ready to assist you.

    As this is directly from MS website, as you can see by the sentence in the paragraph that is in bold. So in my opinion, they ask for order numbers for each item therefore they should refund for each item, not just one. I am honestly not impressed about only
    able to have 1 refund per year. That is just crazy.

    such charge. No refunds will be given for any charges more than 90 days old. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
    This refund policy does not affect any statutory rights that may apply.

    We suggest replying to the email received by the refund team since they are the only ones with the correct tools to assist in this matter!

    You can get a refund if you talk to the support again, but you may not be able to, since it's been a while since you bought the game, it will depend a lot of the attendant

    Thanks for keeping us updated on the issue. If you'd like dispute the denial of the refund, you simply need to respond to the email you received for denial by directly replying. This will ensure that it gets back to the agent that sent it and they can look
    into the matter. This is the only way to review the decision.

    Hello John, if the status says "approved" on the Microsoft side, this means they already sent the money back to your bank

    Usually the bank process it in 7 business days. In some cases this takes even 30 business days

    I recommend you to check carefully the previous last statement, or the one you're going to receive when May ends
