Are you absolutely sure he was playing it on your profile? If he bought it in your absence then it should appear in your purchase history. Check that out first to see if in fact your account was used:

If you want to let friends or family play on your console in future unattended then I strongly suggest that you enable a passcode on your console so that only you can make purchases by enabling that restriction.

Will if it is approved at accounts.Microsoft.com and it passed ,4-5 business days then it depends on your BAnk and where you are in the world vs the usa

If you aren't in North America it can take sometime and this depends on when your bank handles international transactions usually 5-7 business days after it is approved by ms

If it is PayPal it can take 60 days per their terms

This is due to the way bank handles transactions they don't run it thru the mainframe one at a time they run thousands stacked in a large stack and feed it into the machine as it's a waste of computer time to do otherwise you learn thid in school. I know I did when we saw the mainframes at our local university

You are still responsible for minimun payments during the wait as per the usual Carrd agreement
