Refund Request Issue

Hi,

I made a Refund Request in the XBOX website online and I got an email saying it has been rejected and it was rejected because the item I bought has been used but this is false as I bought FIFA POINTS which is an online game currency and I have not
used any of it since it was accidentally purchased.

I think you have got this decision wrong... Let me explain, my little brother aged 8 went onto my account and bought these FIFA POINTS from my bank account. He wasted money which is very VERY critical to me as financially I am not that stable right
now.

Online on your refund policy website for Digital Game Purchase Refund Terms it clearly states the following ‘For single-use items (like consumables or in-game currency), your request may be eligible only if the item wasn’t modified or used’. This here
shows that if you purchase in game currency like in this case FIFA POINTS you can get a refund if you have not used them and I have not used any of the FIFA POINTS that were purchased and all of them are still there on the account.

Please can anyone help me oht on this?

Well actually you didnt read the terma and conditions then

Ingame items like fifa points are not refundable

Because you wouldve purposely select them

This includes any ingame currency

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to handle this predicament. I understand how this could be disheartening. What you should do is reply to the email that you got from the refund request department explaining that you got denied, as
no one here has power to refund what you're asking.

If and when you get a chance, do so and they will let you know what can be done by policy.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. This is a known issue that the Xbox engineers are actively working on to find a resolution to this specific issue. They are aware of the issue and a fix should be expected soon.

A refund request would need to be requested online by submitting a refund request form by clicking on the following link:

If that is the case, since you already followed the correct procedure for a refund, I'm afraid you can only try replying to the denial message you got or maybe contacting the support:

Unfortunately nothing more can be done on the forum if the request was denied.
