Refund request after the 14 day limit.

So I accidentally ordered 2 of the same exact game and the went on vacation for about a month which exceeds the 14 day limit. When I came back, I saw that I had already purchased a game that I had already owned. Am I ever able to get that money back or am I screwed?

You can try requesting a refund filling the form below:

https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund

In case your refund gets denied, you can actually file an appeal for the results of the refund.

All you need to do is to reply to the email that was sent to you by the refund team, you can reply with a detailed explanation so they can review your request again and grant you a possible exception.

If more than 14 days have passed since you made the game purchase, or if you have played it for 2 hours or more, the probability of the refund request being approved is low. Nevertheless, you should still be able to submit the request, but be aware of these conditions.

If they deny the refund request, please reply to the email you received informing you of the refund rejection, explaining in detail the reason why they should reconsider their decision. This is the only way to appeal the rejection and get back in touch with the team that originally handled your refund request.

Please keep in mind that in this public community forum, we are just players like you trying to assist and guide other players. This means we don't have access to other accounts or access to refund information from other users.
