Refund options - Activision Banned Accounts

Hi Folks,

I'm a daily COD Vanguard Player

I have COD Warzone, Cold War and Modern Warfare also loaded on my Xbox Series X

I havent played them regularly since Vanguard was released, only logging on to keep them updated

On Sept 2 2022 when logging on received a message saying my account has been banned from all titles (except Vanguard)

Have logged tickets with both Activision and Better Business Bureau both to no avail, they simply reply that bans are final

Makes absolutely no sense

I would like a refund of every cent I have spent on their titles

Apparently if you get banned on MW2 and/or Warzone 2 you can't play MW3. Activision added MW3 to my list of banned games. So I went to Blizzard and requested a refund. It was accepted.

Thanks Activision for nothing.

as it all stemmed from the activision account and it was activision that banned it then nothing microsoft can do, when playing the game you connect to activision servers.

this has to be brought up with activision, as it is a game specific ban you can use the game on another account fine, but as you say your activision account was hijacked then it needs reporting to activision and it is for them to resolve it.

Activision Support is really the worst.

No support from Activision on COD:MW

I last played Nov 2021.

I had no online play history (Id: Khaksar3G#5161596)

The ban appeal page shows no ban

But in game I am unable to play "Permanent Ban"

Blizzard says we cant help you

As Call of Duty is an Activision published game, it's Activision that handles the bans. Microsoft can't do anything about it, and can't refund you, as other games allow you to play perfectly well on the Live network.

To resolve your issue, you will have to
contact the Activision support on this page here. They are the ones responsible for your bans.
