    Hello,

    I am writing to either obtain a refund for my Halo Wars 2 ultimate Edition that I purchased last year or being granted a steam code so the multi-player function is not useless like it currently is. When buying this game I was looking forward to playing it
    especially online as I loved the original halo wars on Xbox 360 however after completing the campaign and deciding to try online play I was very dissapointed. This was due to the fact that there were no players online.

    I am writing for you to take this complaint serious and show you actually value your customer who bought it on W10 thinking it was a W10 exclusive game - not to be released on steam at a later date taking any possible potential opponents away from the W10
    version.

    I want to close my account

    Steam is a PC platform separate to Windows Live however there are some games on Steam that use the Windows Live service. There is no way to buy games on Steam and play them on xbox. Only games (on Steam) that have the Game for Windows logo on them are playable
    with your gamertag (through the Games for Windows service on PC).

    If you need a refund for that game (I'm not sure if Valve allow refunds or if you are to contact the publisher or if Steams ToS prevent refunds) you should contact Valve/Steam Support (support.steampowered.com) about this though.

    Hi basically steams view is the key is failing when activating against the live servers so the issue is with live. Which sounds right.

    This is resolved, however many will not by happy with this.

    Basically, you need a new key. Yes, you need to buy a brand new key...

    For some reason, and I have proved that my key I used many years ago is mine.

    I have taken the update content and have loaded it on a new machine with the game.

    This account had achievements for that game from gfwl since the day i bought it...

    I want to argue that it was either the server that holds these keys that have possibly malfunctioned.

    Or possibly steam's key generator malfunctioned.

    Maybe, I am that stupid and really assigned my key to another account...

    So, if you bought a key many years ago from steam, and you cannot get in... Then...

    1. It's your own fault

    2. It was steam's fault

    3. It was the sever holding the key information

    Now if you excuse me, I'm going to play the game now..

    I'm having a problem with the Games For Windows Client too. I have the games installed fine, but when I run a game it asks for an activation key, but when trying to get the key from the client all I get is...

    An unknown error has occurred.

    Not useful.

    Looks to me like whatever server they used to store and issue keys is down/gone. If I'm right I'd suggest the best course of action would be to give everyone who bought from them Steam keys or similar, then they can turn the servers off for good.
