Refund [Mod Removed – Profanity].

I bought a gamertag name change messed up my name asked for a refund within 5 minutes of the mess up and they denied me. Why is Microsoft such a pain in the
[Mod Removed – Profanity].

[Mod Removed – Profanity]. profanity despite being literal music? This is
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. and your code of conduct which has certainly been shifted a huge amount since earlier call of duty titles is
[Mod Removed – Profanity]. In fact, [Mod Removed – Profanity].you. Censor this you
[Mod Removed – Profanity].. Do it.

 

It is MS policy.

They do this so people do not just say oh hey I messed up I really wanted this gamertag and request a refund for a gamertag change.

 

Did something bad happened? Contact official support for something like that.

 

I understand that but a 10 minute time frame give me a break. I could see 2 months later or even a week but 5 to 10 minutes is rediculous. I even asked if they would correct it for me and they said no.

 

certain things are non-refundable in the eyes of Microsoft. I would check to see if its part of that list or contact support and talk to a live person. Be nice and tell them the situation and see what happens otherwise you will have to stay with what you
have unless you buy another name change.

 

Yeah I talked to the live person first in a panic lol. But I am always polite to costumer service people. She tried her best to do what she could and was unable to solve the problem. So thats when I went with the refund route. I was just surprised that
they wouldnt and from here on out I will just avoid them at all cost.

 

You may want to reach out and speak with them directly on the phone. Was it something like a simple typo, or you want a whole different name?

 

Yeah, Gamertag is a different story. I am almost 100% sure they will not give you a refund for a name change. You have to be lucky to get a refund. I'm sure everything you buy says that this is a final payment and you can't be refunded.

Yeah, it sucks! I'd recommend asking Xbox Live Support on their website for a refund and to revert your name to the previous one. I doubt they would do it, but no harm in asking is it?!

I've done the same as you but never asked for a refund, just spent more money to change one letter. Now I triple check and even google the word just to be sure. Haha! Wish you the best of luck

Lol yeah i doubt they are gonna do anything. I mean the CEO of the company cant buy a new jet if he gives people refunds right. Yeah I guess im just gonna suffer and like you from now on ill tripple check my spelling. Thank you! You as well.
