    Refund Minecraft Purchase


    Hello,

    My child was interested in playing Minecraft, so we signed the child up with a new outlook account under my family account and we made a purchase. Upon installation of minecraft, my child entered the password for the recently created outlook account but the password was no longer accepted. After several attempts, the account was locked.

    Due to this being a new account, my child had not setup the security info and cannot recover the password to the account. The game was purchased within the hour. There is no refund option available in my order history. May I ask how we can request a refund?

    minecraft refund!

    Xbox support will offer refunds on Marketplace purchases (not just Minecraft) on a case-by-case basis.

    In the case of the Minecraft refunds. They are only offering that refund to people who do not have a HDTV, who purchased Minecraft before the 11th of May. That was the date they changed the game's description on Xbox Live. Give support a call.

    How to Refund minecraft

    You can return your purchases made on the Xbox network or the Microsoft Store by following these steps:

    1. Access the Xbox support page: https://support.xbox.com/es-ES/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders

    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account: Use the same account you used to purchase Minecraft.

    3. Select the purchase to refund: Find the recent Minecraft purchase you want to refund in your purchase history.

    4. Request a refund: Follow the instructions on the page to complete the refund request. Be sure to explain the situation in detail, mentioning that you had to purchase Minecraft again due to an error in recognizing your ownership of the game.

    1. You made a duplicate purchase.
    2. A purchase was made without your permission.
    3. You’re unable to play your game after visiting minecraft.net troubleshooting sections for your version of Minecraft.

    They will ask you to provide the order number(s) and transaction ID(s) from the purchase and specify which purchase needs refunding.
