    Was hoping anyone could give me some advice, My son is considering pre-ordering the ultimate edition of Dying Light 2 on Series X (£89.99) but after seeing a lot of the big title games being released and pretty much unplayable, was wondering if anyone could advise if he'd be able to get a refund if it doesn't meet his expectations.

    I have read online that there are refund limits but cannot see any detail on what they are (and have extensively searched this subject). He has refunded 5 games over the past 8 months (coming to around £200) without issue but I am concerned this could be the time the refund request is refused (if the game doesn't meet his expectations). I am aware that there is a 14 day/2 hour gameplay limit on digital game refund requests and he wouldn't exceed those limits. Can anyone advise on this as I am worried that £89.99 is a lot of money for him if he were unable to get a refund in the event he wanted one?

    Thanks for the reply, my concerns are with the following wording on the website: “There are often limits on the number and type of refunds allowed and the monetary compensation that we can provide to each purchaser in a given year”. As I say, my son has received 5 refunds in the past 8 months (totalling £200) so my question is, does anyone know what the number of/monetary refund limits are in a given year and when does that given year reset?

    Refunds are typically issued for requests meeting the following criteria:

    Requests are made within 14 days of the purchase date

    Requests are for games in which you haven’t accumulated a significant amount of playtime.
