Refund for the money I used to buy Minecraft Java because my Microsoft account has been...

About a year ago, I was hacked and my Microsoft Account was stolen and I have been contacting Microsoft this whole time and no one ever helped me. I use $35 dollars on Minecraft Java. Whenever I heard "since the security info was changed we can't help you" I was even more upset as this is losing a lot for me, Friends, Efforts, Time, this is one of the precious things in someone's life and you can't just let it go. Everybody has instincts to get them back no matter what. I thought Microsoft was one of the top companies in the world. Top companies usually have a good system of helping people. I'm still very upset at this fact as Microsoft was one of my company idols. Well I guess that has to change.

I have been told that no one can help me, a lot, so I'm not asking for my account back, but I want a refund for the money I used in purchasing Minecraft Java. I still have a little hope in Microsoft, do not let a customer down. I have heard lots of people with the same problem as me, I know that everyone is very upset in Microsoft for "not being able to help". I hope you have good news for me and the rest of the people.

Purchases are only eligible for a refund if the purchase was made less than 14 days ago and there isnt significant play time so if the purchase was that long ago you wouldnt be eligible for a refund.

Even if you were eligible for a refund youd need access to the account to even be able to request one.

Does it not matter if I still have the Transaction ID?

I do not have a receipt for Minecraft Java Edition on my Microsoft account because I bought it through the Mojang store before the Microsoft/Mojang account integration that happened a few years ago. Thus, my Microsoft account doesn't have a receipt for it because I didn't buy it through Microsoft. I can give my Minecraft username as evidence that I had a copy of Java Edition but besides that I have no other evidence. Now that my Mojang account has been migrated to Microsoft, I can't log in to it to prove I own a copy of Java Edition.

I have the same question just added money to my sons account to buy minecraft java for mac and it will only let me pay by credit card/paypal which I am happy to do but now need to get my payment back from microsoft. how do I get the refund please?

I've tried from Minecraft website because Java Edition is not avaible on Microsoft Store.

Yes I can use credits on Microsoft Store, but can't find Minecraft Java Edition. I tought that Minecraft was a Microsoft's production, and that's why I sent a 25€ credit to my son on Microsoft account.

Is there a fix for this? Will Minecraft Java Editon be avaible on Microsoft Store?
