Refund for pulled content?

a couple years ago I bought a digital copy of the amazing Spider-Man from the Xbox network. My hard drive got stolen from storage so I have to download it again but it's been pulled. Is Microsoft going to offer me a refund for pretty much taking my money
and then taking back my purchase?

Dragon Age Inquisition India market place preorder refund

Anyone know how i go about receiving a refund for Dragon Age as it was pulled after i pre ordered it?

Mercenaries 2 Connection Problem

The servers for Mercanaries 2 are no longer available. They were pulled by EA. Take it back to the shop and get a refund for it not being clearly labelled as having no multiplayer.

Have you tried redownloading it from your download history? You can try contacting support and speaking to billing, but refunds are not guaranteed. When you purchase digital content, you're purchasing a license to the use the content. That license means

Xbox Fitness will be discontinued . Starting June 27th you will not be able to purchase content for it anymore. The service will completely shut down on June 30, 2017. Since the content will be pulled from the marketplace and access to it will be removed
later on you can request a refund for it if you've already purchased content for this.

You got really lucky! I have never had any luck getting any refunds for any of the content I purphased by accident. I doubt you will be able to do that again in the future. Maybe one day they might be able to pull the license from the content so refunds
might be easier but I wouldn't bet on it any time soon. : (. I understand why they don't give refunds it's because the license gets tied to the gamertag .. I know ... I know

Also, sometimes publisher's will pull content off of the marketplace for some reason or if the publisher no longer owns the rights they'll pull the content off. So it is possible that it's just not available anymore at all.

When content is pulled form the Xbox Live Marketplace we make every effort to keep the content available for redownload. However, sometimes content must be pulled entirely from the Marketplace, including removing the ability to redownload it.
