    Refund for Destiny 2's first 2 years of content?


    Seeing as how everything we PURCHASED is no longer available to play, isn't Bungie legally bound to give us our money back? I went back to Destiny 2 a bit ago, decided to start a new toon since I haven't played in a while and I love the campaign. Only to find out that a very large chunk of purchased content, such as the base game were cut completely out. Isn't that technically theft? It would be different if that was known before release, but it wasn't. If you spend $100+ on a game, you expect it to be there the next time you try to play it. Personally, I feel ripped off, I sucked it up when it went F2P, figured I'd just have more people to play with, but when a company literally takes away content that I purchased? Naw, that's where I draw the line. Bungie should really consider closing down at this point. Independence = Failure when it comes to these has beens. Maybe they should crawl back to Microsoft (although I'd understand if MS said no, Bungie seems like that child that jumps between mommy and daddy whenever one of them doesn't give it what it wants). Seriously though, I see lawsuits being thrown Bungies way in the near future.

    Since I already have season pass, I will be getting the House Of Wolves DLC and hopefully Bungie / Activision will be releasing " free " DLC as an apology for the lack of content in the core Destiny 1 game.

    The only way that I will be going anywhere near Destiny 2 is if the core content of Destiny 2 is as big as...

    " Destiny 1 core content + The Dark Below DLC content + House Of Wolves DLC content "

    combined on the initial $60.00 of Destiny 2.

    It really seems to me that Bungie is doing everything they can to annoy Xbox owners.

    First off they hold content back for a year when Destiny first got released, then they pull the same trick with the first two add-ons.

    Then, Bungie changed the release date for the Taken King exclusive content at the last second, it originally said it would be released roughly fall 2016, now its fall 2017.

    So that means that the PS4 owners out there have way more content for a game that we pay the same price. I don't mind exclusive content for a month, even six months. BUT 2 YEARS?

    No and not likely to. Consider that Destiny 2 was released 2 years ago. I think $60 for 2 years content is pretty good value for money. They player numbers are probably dropping now. So to keep the numbers up for all to enjoy the game they are probably
    running a promotion. It's happened with plenty of games once a few years old to bring new people to the game.
