Refund for a double charge

I bought a game today and when I checked my bank i saw i was charged twice. I immediately requested a refund because it was a lot of money to have go missing. The request for a refund was approved. And a little while later i got money back. But i was only refunded for one of the charges. So i thought ok they refunded the accidental charge. Downloaded the game and wasnt allowed to play it. It said i didnt own the game. So i decided to contact someone and call. When i called he acted like he didnt really care or believe me that i was double charged. I explained to him that i was already refunded for one charge but that the other has yet to be refunded. He told me to wait at least 5 business days to see if i get the money back and said if i dont that its most likely a bank error. I have a feeling i wont ever get my money back because the bank doesnt refund people for other business’ errors. I also very much dont believe its a bank error. The bank doesnt charge you for extra things and ive never had any problems getting refunded before. Anyone else had this problem and what did you do?

To request a refund on the game, please access Request an Xbox refund | Xbox Support , and then choose the reason the most suitable for your request.

The refund department takes up to 72 hours to respond and the money takes three to 5 business days to go back to the account. I wish you a lovely day, and I hope this helps you out!

yes, if you get a refund you're not continuing your subscription

most claims of double charges are actually test charges to your card that evaporates in a few days
