    Madden 22 recently came out and the whole game is glitchy and I could never finish an online game. When I filed a refund request it said denied because it was a digital purchase, but I was able to refund don't starve together digital purchase over a year ago. Why can't I refund Madden 22?

    nowhere in any of the toc's on any of the microsoft sites does it state a 2 hour rule, so that cannot be used as a denial as it would not stand a chance against law.

    This 2 hours play thing is not something that is mentioned anywhere on the Microsoft website (unless it's on some obscure hard to find page of course).....it was something that was there when they first started the self-refund system but, I believe, they removed it at some point

    In addition "because it is a digital game" is not a reason that Microsoft denies refunds. The result of your refund will normally have a reason as to why given our company policy in the result email. If you would like to dispute the result, as what was said here already - reply to the email.
