Refund Assistance

So, I've run into an issue which I need help with from the community. I'd like to request a refund for a game I just bought called Metro: Exodus. I bought it two days before it went on game pass (Which I own) and so as a result, I'd like a refund
for it. Normally, I'd be okay without getting a refund if the game went on game pass but in this case, I hadn't beaten the game at the time and was only about halfway through. I also spent over $50 on the game, which is also why I'd like a refund. I did submit
a ticket already for a refund which was denied but I wasn't able to actually fully explain the reasoning behind the refund due to the 100 character limit so I don't think the support person was able to fully understand why I wanted the refund. Any suggestions
to help?

If may be that you are not enrolled to a refund as the game going on sale or at a discount (free with Gamepass) isn't a valid reason for them to process a refund.

Reply to the emailas suggested but be prepared for them to still say no.

Always check any emails you have sent too see if you have put all the right information that will support the request for a refund, any mistake could lead too it being declined or not accepted.

In the email they sent you the reason for denial will be in the email. It could be you wrote the wrong date of purchase, wrong order number etc. I recommend rereading the email. Also, you can rerequest a refund here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/payment-and-purchases/request-refund,

Also, you reach out to customer support by requesting a call back since nobody cant assist you on this matter on the forums. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/

For refund you can first try the auto function in
http://commerce.microsoft.com if doesnt get, you will need to contact the official Xbox Support. They are the only ones that can determine if a refund is possible or not.
