Refund Assistance

can anyone advise how to request a refund? I was charged on the 11th of July for my Xbox live account and my ESO plus subscription (due on the 23rd) as a total payment of $25.90. This is my usual charge that I have recieved for the last year and I have a
receipt for that payment. I also have a payment for 24th of July come out of my account for $14.95 for my ESO plus renewal which I have not received a receipt for. This looks like a double charge as I already paid for the month in the $25.90 charge. Don't
know who to contact as I need a receipt for the payment taken.

Assistance with possible refund

I bought Sea of Thieves not knowing how to access the game pass for the game on my computer. Wanted to try the game out before I bought it. Unfortunately, I didn't know that I had to go to the microsoft store on my pc to download it. So I was just wondering
if I could get a refund? I'll probably end up buying it after the game pass free trial expires, but if I don't like it I want to have my money just in case. Not expecting a yes with this, but I figure it's worth a shot.

You can log into your Microsoft account on the website and navigate to recent purchases and select to get help with the order or you can visit Contact Us | Xbox Support and
open an online support chat with the Xbox support team to request the refund. Please note purchases on the Xbox Store are final but you may qualify for a once-off refund.

For refund you can first try the auto function in
http://commerce.microsoft.com if doesnt get, you will need to contact the official Xbox Support. They are the only ones that can determine if a refund is possible or not.

same thing happened to me, i got the run around with chat support and then they just pretty much ended the chat without resolving my issue after i asked to speak to a manager. good luck to you! i hope you had better luck than me!

If may be that you are not enrolled to a refund as the game going on sale or at a discount (free with Gamepass) isn't a valid reason for them to process a refund.

Reply to the emailas suggested but be prepared for them to still say no.

Always check any emails you have sent too see if you have put all the right information that will support the request for a refund, any mistake could lead too it being declined or not accepted.

In the email they sent you the reason for denial will be in the email. It could be you wrote the wrong date of purchase, wrong order number etc. I recommend rereading the email. Also, you can rerequest a refund here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/payment-and-purchases/request-refund,
