    Why is it that microsoft xbox denies refunds due to limit, but have no policy on said limit. I've contacted them through chat, phone and email and yet, not one person has told me how many is allowed. Nico Angelo who was my chat agent literally stated that
    he didn't know and that any I formation pertaining to my question is CONFIDENTIAL. Confidential, I have the right to know and see this policy as a customer. They literally expect me to take their word. I've sent my finding and all report to my bank for further
    investigation due to the fact that microsoft denied my refund and suggested that I file a dispute with my bank to get my money back which they did. Thank goodness my bank is amazing. I have been a customer of Microsoft xbox since before my son was born and
    he's 15 now and I've never had any issues up until now. All of a sudden theirs a policy on refunds allowed yearly but no one can verify or cough up any proof of this. I've been over the entire policy for Microsoft xbox refunds, read multiple forums, looked
    it up in different ways and nothing. The only confirmation that I get about refunds is what they tells me. I've email refund support and they reply with the same automated answer just with a different person's name on the bottom. Why can't I get a straight
    answer why is microsoft xbox being so squirrelly. Everytime I find something about refunds and read the answers made by the Microsoft xbox ambassadors they literally reply with a link that basically is useless and never can they give a straight answer. I'm
    sure that my question will be replied by someone from Microsoft who also doesnt know anything about yearly refunds allowed and give me a while bunch of following links to waste my time. That's what they are trying to do because their is no policy for refund
    amounts per year only verbal confirmation and they will try to discourage you by making it difficult so you can give up on trying to get your money back because most people usually do and they know this. But me no no I will continue to keep pushing. Ive also
    contacted a legal team specifically just for this because until I have a clear picture of this policy and terms stating exactly how many refunds are allowed per year I will continue to push back. We have 3 accounts and I've made refunds multiple times from
    my other accounts but now that its 200.00 they dont want to refund me and let's be clear this account wasnt in use for some time and after checking on refunds for the past year I only have one for 10.00. Also answer me this why did my chat agent offer me a
    refund for my smaller transactions on this account with Hope's that giving me my smaller refunds would help my situation. Excuse me, so you can offer to give me a refund on my smaller transactions but I was denied for the larger amount, it doesn't make sense.
    I then realized that taking those smaller refunds would definitly put me in a position where I hit my mad allowed refunds for the year, nice try buddy. Since then I've emailed the support team that denied my request with all the information i found along with
    chat conversation showing the agent stating that he didnt know and that its confidential. How are we as customer suppose to know these terms if their not shared with us. I came to the conclusion that microsoft can chose to on their own terms whether or not
    they want to refund you, because their is no specific policy. The fact is that the refund support team is trained to discourage and waste your time with nonsense in Hope's that you will just give up. They are trained to frustrate you so keep a cool head, discourage
    you so keep pushing, lie to you so keep collecting information and last not give you your money so get that.

    I refunded two year passes at the same time and both got approved, but i only got the money for only one year pass. I have proof of receipt.

    You can't refund prepaid cards.

    Unless you.mean battlepasses

    Core can't be refunded

    Only month to month or 3month passes can be refunded

    Yearly can only be purchased by prepaid codes and you can't refund those

    Now if you refunded a grandfathered yearly plan you can never get that plan again

    Prepaid codes are one time use not to mention a refund goes back to the original payment method meaning the code you used wouldn't refund cause they are one time use

    Regarding refunds, as per Australian Consumer law. A refund/replacement/store credit must be applied if the item/service is not fit for purpose, not received, faulty or not as advertised.

    There's no such thing as "yearly refund limit" under consumer law.
