    This is an ongoing problem with the Killer Instinct game in Windows 10. I have tried is in a console and this does not happen but if there is someone who has this issue in console, please speak up. I posted in their forums and there has not been an answer

    Well, the problem has been the same for about 4 months, so it qualifies as on going. When I start KI and it checks for DLC and updates, now this message shows:


    Refreshing your DLC is taking longer than expected. We recommend you continue to wait until... [​IMG]


    The only option that works is skipping, but that makes your DLC purchases unavailable. You can play the game online, but again your DLC is not there.

    I believe it started 02/03/19. Running KI on W10 MS Store version. Downloaded and tried it on a 2nd computer, same thing. Is there a problem with the DLC validation servers?. Tried in on console and it works there, but the PC version has an issue with the
    "handshake" between MS and Iron Galaxy and the DLC check times out. As it appears the Steam version has been having the same issue even longer:

    I love this game, I understand development is done, but it should not be left in disrepair, please MS, Iron Galaxy, fix this. I would like to continue purchasing your games in the future.

    So sorry to see you are having this issue with Killer Instinct.

    Sounds like you have gone around the buoy several times already with this one!

    Keep this on the radar and engage as regularly as you can with the Microsoft Support team.

    I am also one of countless people experiencing this error.

    It is a very large problem rendering a once good popular gaming experience unplayable.

    It is disappointing as we have spent alot of money purchasing content for a game that we can now no longer access.

    Windows Live Store, Microsoft, Iron Galaxy, please fix your game and give us access back to our purchased content

    So my patience is done completely. I paid for game in Microsoft Store and nobody wants to help me. So the only way what is reasonable for me is help of consumer rights advocate and court. It will be no problem with this in Poland and EU territory. If you
    don't want to respect my rights as a customer, I will not play with you anymore and listen to excuses.

    BTW - lot of people has the same problem and nobody from MS or Iron Galaxy reacts. example link:
