Reformat xternal hard drive

Which hard drive do you have? (If possible attach the model here)
The hard drive supports USB 3.0? When it doesn't have USB 3.0 interface the Xbox is not going to recognize as a drive to store games, only media.

If you go to Settings > System > Storage devices > highlight your drive > Format

Are you able to select store games or a different message appears?

Format.it to ntfs and then attach it to the console it will ask if you want to format it

(This cannot.be read by a pc)

Also keep in mind you can only use it for Xbox one a d below games as enhanced games require internal.storage or a storage card

The Xternal Hard Drive is USB 3.0, I think Hard Disk with 5 TB don't Exist

When you format your hard drive, it will delete everything on it. The Xbox 360 hard drive is used for the Xbox 360, you cannot use it for a PC.

If you want to have movies on your Xbox, you can download them from the ZUNE marketplace.

Unfortunately, unless you had it backed up on the cloud or other storage, there is no way to restore save data.
