    Reformat a special edition Xbox one


    I have a question about reformatting a Halo 5 special edition console. I am purchasing one used from a friend for my son for Christmas, my friend nor I is sure if Halo will still be there when he reformats it before he gives it to me. How does this work?
    IS the game hard coded into the drive or will I need a digital download code to reinstall the game? The whole point of buying it besides the "cool case" is the game. I intend to eventually purchase a physical copy but don't want to right now if I don't have
    to.

    Do I need a new TV? (Skyrim Special Edition and new Xbox One S

    With the announcement of Skyrim special edition, this made me suddenly become obsessed with FINALLY upgrading to a 4k technology TV, and/OR getting an Xbox One S, so that I can experience the Special Edition to the fullest, but... Is it necessary?
    I currently own a 55" Samsung 1080p HDTV and have just been enjoying my Xbox Day One edition, and games, on it. Skyrim special edition, Xbox One S, and project Scorpio are all in the works. As a strictly console player, where does everybody suggest I take
    steps towards upgrading?

    1.) Will Skyrim Special Edition look just as nice on a NON 4k TV (standard 1080p HDTV)?

    2.) Would the HDR capabilities of the new Xbox One S impact the visuals of Skyrim Special Edition, thus, making it a good idea to buy and Xbox One S, for this experience?

    3.) If I bought an Xbox One S mainly for the best possible visuals for Skyrim Special Edition.... Do I have to be using a 4k TV to see the HDR?

    The Halo game will have been supplied as a code to use and gets tied to account it was redeemed again not the console. The only way your son will have access to this game will be that your friend leaves the console set as there home console or you purchase
    the game yourself.

    There are currently only 2 special editions of the Slim model that have the 320GB HDD. One is the Gears of War 3 Special Edition and the other one is the Star Wars Special Edition.

    Regarding Day One Edition Car Pack

    If you have the Day One Edition then you should have 2 "versions" of those cars. The Day-One Editions have special liveries (i.e. special Forza/Xbox paint jobs) and they are also custom tuned.

    It's a special edition, no matter which you look at it. Most special editions need to be preordered these days or you run the risk of not getting one. What they called it is of no consequence, and it doesn't change the fact that there are literally a finite
    number of Day One codes in accordance with being a part of a special edition.
