    i have referred my friend to go gold and he has upgraded to gold but i didnt receive any credits

    xbox 360 owners upgrading to xbox one!!

    How long has it been? Keep in mind it can take up to 75 days to receive credits from that offer. Also, make sure he did not use a prepaid card as those are not eligible.

    • The referred friend purchases an Xbox Live Gold membership online from Xbox.com within fourteen (14) days of the referral (Xbox Live Gold retail code redemptions, pre-paid cards and promotional memberships do not qualify);
    Since your friend used a prepaid card and did not purchase a subscription using the referral link, they did complete the offer.

    Were you referred by a friend to upgrade to gold? As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold. Refer a friend is the only way to receive credits for going gold.

    If you were referred by a friend to purchase the game you would have received credits. Otherwise, there were no offers to receive credits for purchasing that game at that time.
