    i'm not sure how to start this off but as the title says there's and error. it says it runs from 02/1/2018 to 03/31/18 OK so i clicked on it hoping to to refer 6-7 friends to Xbox live it popped saying invite friends now upon clicking on it says got friends?
    get stuff clicked on it. it than signed me automatically than it a message popped up saying i'm ineligible for this reward to click here to see more offers so i did nothing there about it contacted support a agent named Jennifer told me to post here for help
    by the Xbox live rewards agent who specializes in these errors she said it was a internal error the link i click on redirected me to xboxliveoffers.com

    so its not a fake link

    Microsoft’s $10 Gift Card Promotion for Refering Friends With Gold

    For some of those on the xbox preview program, have the promotion that rewards people $10 for getting their select friends refered to join xbox live gold. I called microsoft asking if I would get rewarded the $10 if i were to give a select friend my 1month
    xbox live gold code and they refered me to asking forum page because they we’re uncertain. For context, i have the 1 month xbox live gold code from buying the xbox one x.First time using the forum so i’m unsure on how it works, i’m seeking for help(support)
    on the issue on wether a refered friend has to physically buy xbox live gold to get rewarded the $10 gift card. Or if i can give them my 1 month of xbox live gold code and still get rewarded the$10 gift card

    Since your region is transitioning to Microsoft Rewards, the referral offers are being discontinued, and being phased out for your region.

    Xbox Rewards credits cannot be redeemed towards a Microsoft store gift card. You may be referring the Microsoft Rewards program which can be redeemed towards gift cards. You would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

    The rewards states "Get an Xbox Gift Card to buy games, devices, and more at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, and on Xbox." And doesn't state any caveats.

    Also 10 months ago I purchase an xbox elite controller 2 and used reward gift card to do it without issue.

    I preordered the physical disk from microsoftstore.com I'm not sure if you ordered through the same process, but according to the info at the bottom of my order confirmation, they will ship the gift card or credit your Xbox Rewards account in 10 to 15 days
    after game release.

    Below, I've pasted the information from my confirmation that I'm referring to:

    It's referring to the Microsoft Rewards program. If you have enough rewards points, you can use them to redeem an Xbox gift card. http://rewards.microsoft.com
