    Reduced performance on my Xbox out of the blue


    Hello, as the title suggest i opened up my xbox one day to vastly reduced performance. Games have to load in characters ie. Theyre fuzzy for a second then stable, this only started that day. Location in game have to load in as i get closer which at first
    i thought was just new games but their were no updates of any kind just sudden reduced performance. Even 1,3,5 7 year old games that arent updated or enhanced have these issues. There wee no console uodates, game updates, wifi/ethernet changes, ansolutrly
    nothing in my control changed when this performance drop hit. I tried reinstalling, didnt work. I tried power cycling, didnt work. I tried soft rebooting, didnt work. I tried hard rebooting, didnt work. Switched to 720p didnt work. Cleaned my xbox, didnt work.
    Im not sure if this is a console wide issue and i really hope it isnt. My xbox one S is only 3 years old and i really have no idea what kight be wrong. Im posting to see if anyone else has had this issue and could help me.

    Id like to add on to the fact my xbox is connected to security router as for ibternet. Ethernet/ping stayed around tbe same justperformsnce worsened, does snyone know if this could be slowing my xbox or if my xbox is shsring power

    Hi nwcmshnhs,

    Im not sure about that? If I may... I use and recommend getting glasses that reduce the blue light. For example the brand I use our Gunnar. They cut down on the blue light and I use them for gaming/streaming, when on pc and even my phone. They our great,
    reduce headache/migraines. Way easier on the eyes.

    SO since 1 month when I have been playing games on my laptop especially valorant, I have been experiencing FPS lag from 120 fps to 10 fps when I get in combat.

    whats the model of laptop, some come with software to reduce power usage and in turn will reduce performance.
