Redownloading Minecraft Windows 10 on a new laptop asking me to purchase?

search the store for minecraft as there are multiple versions, one of them should say install.

The game is Minecraft. It does appear in my purchase history. It has worked on my laptop in the past. I had a different problem that required me to do a complete reinstall of Windows 10. That deleted all apps and data. Now the Microsoft Store doesn’t show Minecraft for Windows 10 in My Library. Again, it is shown in my purchase history, April 2021.

Kindly verify your game purchase to your account by checking your Order history here: account.microsoft.com > Order history.

Once you see the game there you should have the option to install the game.

It is the games license that'll enable you to install and then play the game.

If you do not see it there, it means that the game was bought on a different account.

I recommend you to check on all of your accounts because one of them might have the Minecraft game.

i got a new laptop and I'm trying to reinstall windows 10 minecraft but it's telling me i don't own it, although i still have it in my purchase history.

I'm using the same account as i did when i purchased it, and I'm only using microsoft on 2 devices.
